The Firm was first established in 2015 by Ms. Teh Peh Hun under the name of P.H. Teh & Co. and Ms Daphne Lew Chah Yee joins forces with Ms Teh under the new name and style of “The Chambers of Teh & Yee” effective 1 August 2023. The Firm was formerly known as Messrs Zhamaliah, Mahen & Teh, a partnership under Ms Teh, Ms. Siti Zhamaliah Ismail and Mr Mahendra a/l Kathiravelu formed in January 2018. Mr Mahen had left the Firm in June 2019 and Ms. Siti Zhamaliah Ismail left the Firm on 31 July 2023. 

The Firm is a boutique law firm offering specialized legal services in the area of banking and finance, conveyancing, probate and estate administration, trusts and succession, commercial and general litigation, just to name a few.  The Firm also offers company secretarial services and intellectual property for patent and trademark registration services. 

Given the geographical area, we provide our services in the northern region by our main branch in Penang, and in the central region by our branch office in Petaling Jaya (PJ). We also aim to expand to southern region soon and building alliances with associate firm in East Malaysia for full coverage in the Malaysia market. 

The Firm has high selection criteria when hiring our lawyers and staff. Our lawyers and staff have relevant years of experience in their specific field. We now have a team of 2 Partners, 2 associates and 8 experienced staff.
